Heat Exchanger Cleaning Process

1. Isolate the equipment system and drain the water in the heat exchanger.
2. Use high-pressure water to clean the silt, algae and other impurities in the pipeline, and then close the system.
3. Install a ball valve (not less than 1 inch = 2.54 cm) between the isolation valve and the exchanger, and both the water inlet and the water return should be installed.
4. Connect the delivery pump and the connecting pipe so that the cleaning agent is pumped into the bottom of the heat exchanger and flows out from the top.
5. Start pumping the required Fustech cleaning agent into the condenser (the proportion can be adjusted according to the specific situation).
6. Repeat the cycle cleaning until the recommended cleaning time. As the cycle progresses and the sediment dissolves, the gas generated during the reaction will also increase. The excess air should be discharged through the vent valve at any time. As the air is discharged, the space in the heat exchanger will increase. You can add appropriate water. Do not inject a large amount of water at the beginning, which may cause water overflow.
7. Check the effectiveness of the cleaning agent regularly during the cycle. You can use pH test paper to measure it. If the solution is kept at a pH value of 2-3, the cleaning agent is still effective. If the pH value of the cleaning agent reaches 5-6, it is necessary to add an appropriate amount of Fushitek cleaning agent. The pH value of the final solution remains at 2-3 for 30 minutes without significant changes, which proves that the cleaning effect has been achieved. Note: Fushitek cleaning agent can be recycled and reused, and discharge will cause waste.
8. After the cleaning time is reached, recycle the cleaning solution. And rinse the exchanger repeatedly with clean water until it is rinsed clean to neutral, and use pH test paper to measure the pH value of 6~7.
9. After the cleaning is completed, you can start the machine and run it. You can also perform a pressure test to see if there is any leakage. If there is a leak, you can use Meijiahua polymer composite materials for repair and protection, and it can greatly extend the service life of the equipment.
10. After the equipment is stable, record the current medium flow rate, working pressure, heat exchange efficiency and other data.
11. By comparing the changes in the values before and after cleaning, you can calculate the production costs such as electricity and coal costs saved by the enterprise every hour and the improved work efficiency, which is the value compensation of the enterprise using Fushitek technology.
12. The same operation method can also be used to clean plate and frame heat exchangers.
13. If the enterprise needs the equipment to be passivated and pre-filmed, the following process can be followed: pump the passivation pre-filming agent into the equipment at the recommended dilution ratio (while hanging the test piece in the circulation tank); circulate and soak for the recommended time; test the pre-filming effect (red dot method or blue dot method); discharge; rinse with water until neutral (measure the pH value of 6~7 with pH test paper).
14. After the passivation pre-filming is completed, it is best to use ventilation equipment such as fans to dry the system to ensure and improve the passivation pre-filming effect.
